Sara Sherman, PsyD

Dr. Sherman (she/her/hers) earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from NYU and master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Child & Adolescent Emphasis, from Adler University (Chicago). She completed doctoral clinical psychology residency at Advocate Childhood Trauma Treatment Program (Chicago) and postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles/USC Keck School of Medicine University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). Dr. Sherman has assessed and treated children with mental health problems ranging from mild to severe. Her graduate school and training sites are accredited by the American Psychological Association.


Deepa Karmakar, LCSW

Deepa (she/her/hers) is a psychotherapist based in Los Angeles, CA. She received her MSW at University of Southern California with an emphasis on Children and Families. For the past 6 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including residential treatment centers, school, and community-based mental health agencies. Her client base has ranged from teenagers to older adults. She has supported clients with childhood trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and intimate partner violence. She’s trained in Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Safe & Sound Protocol.
